The Pottery

André's work is characterized by attention to every detail. Each unique piece of pottery is hand-thrown using semi-translucent porcelain, trimmed, bisqued, glazed, then high-fired in a electric kiln at cone-9.

Landscapes are hand-painted using from 2 to 4 glazes that were developed by André. The glaze application involves a combination of techniques and was refined to reveal the rich inherent subtleties of each glaze, and the extraordinary possibilities of their fusion.

Availability of the Pieces

My work is not a high-production process. Each piece of pottery is one-of-a-kind, made by hand - not molded. Delivery time will depend upon whether a piece is already made in the studio and in stock, or in production. I will try my best to get pieces to you within 60 days of ordering. However, please keep in mind that I strive for perfection with all of my work, and delays are always possible.
